The best and foremost way to help others is to see them as they really are, reflections of their own nature of pure being, just like oneself. Knowing that reflections always manifest the same attributes and qualities as their source, all beings are in fact now and always the omnipresent totality of pure being. Knowing this, if you wish to help someone or wish to develop an attitude of compassion, train in seeing others as already possessing the attributes and qualities of pure being, in other words, see them as already possessing wisdom.
This article concerns the relation between society and the idea that the release of the feminine in the individual will have large consequences in society, and why the focus on this process both in the individual, and in the collective is particularly important in our time. Therefore I will start by focusing upon the way the connection between the individual and society could be viewed, and explain why it makes sense to talk of a collective consciousness.
How authentically human am I? What is the best way to be and live life to its fullest? Are there a few points to check if I am right or wrong in a situation? Whether politician or carpenter, single or in a family. Everyone needs a spiritual guideline and a code to live by. Here is one with four straightforward and deep words.
Those of us who live under the influence of the unyielding drive of passion know that there is no escape from it. We must learn, we must grow, we must destroy every ego contraction the moment that we notice it has tricked us, and then we must blithely re-enter our wild lives like wide-eyed children, again and again.
Part Five of REALITY AND EXISTENCE. Having the habit of sitting for long periods, abiding, with hardly a thought, as the luminous naturing of Dharmata—the reverberations, arising as sounds and colored light, of the naturing of all appearances—I was amazed one day when something unusual happened.
I don’t experience myself as a consciousness residing within a body, or a body residing within a world. I’ve thought about it, and I recognize that that I experience it the other way around – world and self and bodily experience arise within my conscious awareness.
Every single moment this stream of being is bombarded with uncountable impressions through the senses, through memories and the echoes of present thoughts. Is it personal? Yes, it is. Is it created by the present you? No it isn’t. Is it created by someone else? Absolutely not.
One day I realized that everything I was trying to say in regard to the naturing of manifested phenomena had one, and really only one essence: duration. Which raised a question in my mind: What is awareness if there is no duration to it? I suddenly saw that awareness, in all its guises, was only that duration we ignore as we attempt to put our finger on its essence!

Karma is not a fixed pattern, or fatalistic view, rather by changing our patterns today we can become a different kind of person tomorrow, we can change our behavior and hence our future.
Even if it wasn’t truly observed by me because I am not the observer, even if the contents of the experience had no more truth than a dream, even if each effort to do so quickly passed out of view, it happened. And that is how I also realized that in happening, these experiences existed. Try falsifying experience for yourself and see if the experience of attempting it doesn’t arise, contradicting your effort.
The practice of the four elements has apparently been confused with a practice of listening to the sounds of earth, wind, fire, and water in the external environment, rather than the one that focuses on the self-arising sounds associated with the primary chakras of our subtle energy bodies.
We are endlessly distracted and preoccupied with things which are not intrinsically important to our inner well being. In fact our educational system is founded upon the very principles that remove us from the sacred inner knowledge which lies at the very heart of our existence.
It is amazing just how much of our lives is held to ransom by passing emotional infatuations. Life slips by, unnoticed, because we are so continuously mentally and emotionally busy with the things that appear to be happening to us and around us; to say nothing of our private mental preoccupations.
Unless and until our experience of nondual awakened mind is for real, there is every reason in the world to pursue teachings on, to understand and train in the most eminent kind of dualistic mind.
Since ancient time, mantras have been part of many spiritual teachings. But why is this the case? Traditionally the word mantra means protecting the mind. But what is a mantra protecting?
All our actions start as a thought, so to know why we act as we do we must know our thoughts and the values and ideals that motivate us to do what we do. To get to know phenomena we must observe them. The same applies to our own minds.
Imagine for a moment, if we could be just like space, letting everything unfold without trying to control or manipulate, fix or arrange.
Holy anger is a mixture of taking pride in being violent, a distorted version of the brave heart, which intoxicate and entices us to feel: my wrath is just, I’m rightfully allowed, I just have to put things straight, by blowing up, losing my temper, and telling the awful truth, about how wrong you are.
