THE DREAM

In POETRY by Michael AshLeave a Comment

befriending the dream
simply becoming friends
with this
that
any phenomena
every being
‘i just let things happen’
this letting go
an emphasis on go

creative, dynamic
as much energy at ease
as … release
a friend once told me
that as she
walked among trees
along no path
amidst laden
tropical abundance
– the trees would whisper to her
in silence
‘nourish me’
… ‘and i will bear you fruit’
the wisdom of trees
goddess
so simple
complex
a lil love
never hurt
pure intent
frequencies
of intensity
that break on the shore

Hamakua Coast, Big Island, Hawaii

the night sea
the inpalpable moment
for when the birth begins
tidal force
apparent obstacles
can we let that be ?
let that… go
as it is
thru us
from us
any phenomena
any frequency
where is space lacking
this space
that
allows
all to be
beyond
pleasure addictions
expectations
aversions
for purity is

and we are nothing
but
midwifes
midmen
with care
seeing

the child of
this moment
be born
of itself
