The seahorse passively holds on to it’s weedy leaf, denied of it’s maternal nurturing as his mother, strong, independent still oddly domineering, leaves the care to the father. However, all too soon, the seahorse is alone. Lost to the whim of the sea.

The practice of the four elements has apparently been confused with a practice of listening to the sounds of earth, wind, fire, and water in the external environment, rather than the one that focuses on the self-arising sounds associated with the primary chakras of our subtle energy bodies.

There is no cure for what ails us, without the body’s grace, its enlightened intent, I wager the cure (for all of us)
The key word here is cling; it is so easy to get caught up in thought patterns. We follow our thoughts when we cling to the past, to the future, and even to the present moment. When we follow our thoughts, getting tangled up like cling wrap, we suffer from anger, fears, worries and all sorts of attachments.
Note: the recipe’s inexactness is purposeful. Trust your creative impulses! The secret of the frittata is that it always tastes good. And here is a poem by one of my favorite poets, Stonehouse.
We are endlessly distracted and preoccupied with things which are not intrinsically important to our inner well being. In fact our educational system is founded upon the very principles that remove us from the sacred inner knowledge which lies at the very heart of our existence.
How does one describe the indescribable? What sweet flowing words can I use to invoke the proper image in your heart?
All that there is, exists within “Reality;” And yet where is Reality located? And when is it happening too?
I found myself among endless lines of crystal urinals and polished sinks, utterly alone. Or at least something close to it, if you remove the senior citizen janitor’s presence. I unwrapped a small, bleach-white sliver of soap, compliments of last night’s lodging.
When we look inward and ask how is my mind we are not looking for an answer. If we are seeking an answer then we have already fabricated. We have already prepared our parachute and are holding it in our hands, ready to deploy.

In many spiritual traditions, the essence of the mind-heart is symbolized by space. But why is this? Our true mind-heart is a union with the universe. The universe has no beginning or end and therefore our mind-heart is as spacious as the universe.
Inventing a personal version of how our spiritual nature is, reality, oneness, non-duality, like making a wedding cake, being so proud of my enlightened ideas. It’s a trip, it’s absurd, and it’s ultimately wasted efforts.
People use art in various ways. To represent the world around them, as an expression of their inner world, to make social political statements, to make something more appealing to the eye. But most significantly humans have used art as a wordless language of symbol.
